Art in a Box conducted our fashion note card classes for high schools students at Andres Avelino Cáceres School in Cusco, Peru.

Village art classes / Cambodia

Art in a Box brought art classes, art supplies and books to students in rural villages where poverty and a lack of basic infrastructure impact children’s lives. Art instruction books and children's literature in Khmer and English were donated to a rural village library in Takmao, Cambodia. The library is one of the first rural libraries in Cambodia.

Art and literacy at a shelter for homeless families / USA

Art in a Box provided boxes of art supplies and books for homeless children at two shelters in the Bronx, New York. Art and reading help the children to cope with transition
and uncertainty, and empowered them through their own creative self-expression.

Art at the School for the Deaf/ Cambodia

Students at the Phnom Penh School for the Deaf, Cambodia’s first such school, attended our silk painting and note card classes where they learned new painting techniques.

Art in a Box brought art supplies and conducted classes at schools in the Marshall Islands, a Pacific Island nation, where students isolated by geography face the challenges of global warming and rising sea levels.

Art for students living at a municipal dump/ Guatemala

Art in a Box conducted art classes and donated art supplies to children and teenagers who live at the Municipal Dump in Guatemala City, Guatemala.
